Product details

Suprasorb A ensures clean wound conditions for heavily exuding wounds. This is due to the high absorption capacity of calcium alginate derived from natural brown seaweed. Suprasorb A is soft and excellently tamponade, conforming to every wound bed.

Suprasorb A impresses with high exudate absorption and rapid gel formation: The exchange of calcium ions from the dressing with sodium ions in the wound exudate creates a gel. The exudate is bound, and bacteria as well as tissue debris are encapsulated. During dressing changes, exudate, bacteria, and tissue debris are removed along with the alginate fiber.
