Strataderm is a silicone gel specialised in the treatment of fresh and old scars. It dries quickly and is not sticky. Strataderm is used to make scars softer and more even. It relieves the itching and discomfort associated with scarring and reduces redness and the risk of skin discolouration. Strataderm is easily applied to all areas of the skin, including the face, neck, as well as joints and hairy areas, without the need for shaving. Strataderm can be applied to all types of scars, including those caused by general and plastic surgery, trauma, chronic injury, burns, lesions, acne and other skin conditions.

Instructions for use | Make sure that the scar is clean and dry. Apply a thin layer of Strataderm to the scar and allow it to dry. If Strataderm has been applied correctly, it should dry in 3-4 minutes. If too much product has been applied, remove the excess with a clean cloth or piece of gauze and allow to dry. Once dry, sun creams or cosmetics can be applied to the Strataderm gel film and pressure or plaster casts can be applied. Strataderm should be applied to the affected areas once a day, twice a day on exposed areas, or as directed by your doctor. Best results are achieved when Strataderm is in continuous contact with the skin (24 hours/day, 7 days/week). This is a medical device, please read the instructions for use. |
