Sonett Hand soap rosemary

The oils and essential oils used in these hand soaps are 100% from controlled organic farming or wild collection. The coconut fat comes from a Fair Trade project in the Dominican Republic. The rosemary hand soap is invigorating and refreshing. It is a nourishing, activating soap. Soap made from plant oils has the unique characteristic of forming a bond with the lime that is always present in wastewater immediately after use. This self-neutralizes the soap in its surfactant action. This primary degradation occurs within a few hours. The lime soap is then completely broken down by microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water. Ethanol reintegrates into the natural cycle within a few hours. In addition to the natural glycerin released during saponification from the oils, plant-based glycerin is also added to retain moisture in the skin. During the production process of sugar surfactants, starch, sugar, and fat components are extracted from the plant raw materials, while their natural structural integrity remains fully intact. Therefore, it is relatively easy for microorganisms to quickly and completely break down these surfactants. Soap and sugar surfactants are considered readily biodegradable according to OECD standards.
