The oils and essential oils for these hand soaps are 100% from controlled organic farming or wild harvesting. The coconut fat comes from a Fair Trade project in the Dominican Republic. We source the olive oil from cooperatives in Spain, Italy, and Greece.

Additional notes: Biodegradability: Soap made from plant oils has the unique property of immediately forming a bond with the calcium present in wastewater after use. This neutralizes the soap's surfactant effect (primary degradation). This primary degradation occurs within a few hours. The calcium soap is then completely broken down by microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). Ethanol reintegrates into the natural cycle within a few hours. In addition to the natural glycerin released during saponification from the oils, plant-based glycerin is also added, which helps retain moisture in the skin.

In the production process of sugar surfactants, starch, sugar, and fat components are extracted from the plant raw materials, but their natural structural integrity is fully preserved. Therefore, it is relatively easy for microorganisms to quickly and completely break down these surfactants by 100%. Soap and sugar surfactants are considered easily biodegradable according to OECD standards.

Application: Gentle alkaline care for hands, face, and the entire body. Mild alkaline soap for handwashing and for the whole body. Particularly suitable where solid soaps are no longer permitted by law, such as in public restrooms, workplace toilets, commercial kitchens, grocery stores, food processing businesses, social institutions, and restaurants. Also suitable for wall dispensers.
