Opsite Flexifix is a transparent film on a roll for the fixation of primary wound dressings. The film is waterproof and allows the patient to shower with the dressing. The polyurethane film provides an effective barrier against bacteria and thus minimises the risk of infection from the outside. Its water vapour permeability prevents skin maceration. The film is highly pliable and stretchable to increase patient comfort. The surface of Opsite Flexifix is particularly smooth, so that the film reduces the transmission of shear forces to the skin.
