For optimal care and longevity, it is advised to rinse the panty with cold water as soon as you take it off, until no residues are visible in the water. Wash it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at 30 °C with your other laundry, without fabric softener or bleach. It’s best to place your panty in a small laundry bag for protection, just as you would with your regular underwear. Allow it to air dry and do not use a tumble dryer.

For example, if you suffer from heavy bleeding (copper IUD, endometriosis, hormonal imbalances...) and want a 100% leakage guarantee, you can put on the Sisters Republic briefs in addition to a cup or a tampon and go about your day in complete peace of mind. However, if you only have a normal to light period, you can use your Sisters Republic briefs alone for up to 12 hours at a time throughout your cycle without any leakage, odour or feeling of dampness. All you have to do is adjust the absorbency of your briefs to your current menstrual flow: Super for the beginning of your period, Medium for the middle of your period and Light for the end of your period.
