Applications

Preoperative full-body decontamination

Application

Octenisan Wash Lotion (up to 5 days, once daily):

  • Completely wet hair and body.
  • Apply the wash lotion undiluted to a moist and fresh washcloth.
  • Evenly apply the wash lotion over the entire body, paying special attention to the armpits. Observe a contact time of 1 minute.
  • Rinse thoroughly. Dry off with a fresh towel.
  • Each time: Put on fresh clothing. Not suitable for children under 3 years.

Octenisan md Nasal Gel (up to 5 days, twice daily):

  • Apply sufficient nasal gel to a cotton swab.
  • Apply the gel to the surfaces of the nasal vestibules.
  • Distribute the gel by gently squeezing the nostrils together. Remove any excess gel. Octenisan md Nasal Gel should not be inserted too deeply into the nose. Not suitable for children under 1 year.
