No exothermic reaction. Celox generates no heat and does not bond with the wound site. Reliable even in cold conditions. Celox works effectively at blood temperatures of 37.05 °C as well as at 18.50 °C. It is effective even with heparinized blood. Its action is independent of blood coagulation factors. Lightweight, portable, and easy to use. Celox granules are lightweight. They are available as a sterile product in sealed packets that are easy and quick to open. Celox is applied to the wound and pressed in with gauze for 5 minutes. A pressure bandage is then applied over it, and the patient is ready for transport. Celox is a new hemostatic agent.
