The outstanding properties of Rocktape stem from its tightly woven structure, which consists of 97% cotton and 3% high-tech synthetic fiber. This composition gives Rocktape an elasticity of up to 180% of its original length, allowing it to retract back to its starting length without losing elasticity. Thus, Rocktape mimics the identical properties of human skin. If the tape did not possess this elasticity, it would lose its effectiveness on the skin after a short time and become unnecessary. The adhesive used in Rocktape is made from a pure acrylic blend, making it free from latex, silicone, and zinc. The adhesive contains 30% more acrylate (the same adhesive used in commercial bandages) than conventional tapes on the market. As a result, they are extremely durable, even under extreme conditions such as sweat and water.
