ROCKTAPE was developed to meet the demands and needs of therapists and medical professionals in therapy. The outstanding properties of Rocktape result from its tightly woven structure, which consists of 97% cotton and 3% high-tech synthetic fiber. This composition gives Rocktape a stretchability of up to 180% of its original length and allows it to retract back to its original length without losing elasticity. Thus, Rocktape mimics the identical properties of human skin. If the tape did not have this elasticity, it would lose its effectiveness on the skin after a short time and become unnecessary. The adhesive used for Rocktape is made from a pure acrylic blend, making it free from latex, silicone, and zinc. The adhesive contains 30% more acrylate (the same adhesive used in commercial bandages) than conventional tapes on the market. This makes them extremely durable, even under extreme conditions such as sweat and water.
