RockTape Extra Sticky contains the highest amount of acrylic adhesive per square centimeter of all RockTape products and is particularly suitable for water sports enthusiasts and athletes who endure a lot of body contact, sweat, and friction from equipment (hockey, football, judo, etc.). RockTape was developed to meet the demands and needs of therapists and medical professionals in therapy. The outstanding properties of RockTape result from the tightly woven structure of the tape, which consists of 97% cotton and 3% high-tech synthetic fiber. This composition gives RockTape a stretchability of up to 180% of its original length and allows it to retract back to its original length without loss of elasticity. Thus, RockTape mimics the identical properties of human skin. If the tape did not possess this elasticity, it would lose its effectiveness on the skin after a short time and become unnecessary. The adhesive used for RockTape is made from a pure acrylic blend, making it free of latex, silicone, and zinc. The adhesive contains 30% more acrylic than conventional tapes on the market, making it extremely durable even under extreme conditions such as sweat and water.
