Hello Sandra, Unfortunately, IPL does not work at all on white-haired and red-haired people, and only to a limited extent on people with blond hair, depending on how blond they are. Here, the dirtier or darker the blonde, the better. This is because the hair that is flashed by means of "Intensed Pulsed Light" (IPL for short) must have a certain amount of pigmentation, i.e. melanin, in order to be able to guide the flash of light to the hair root. This is the only way to sufficiently damage the flashed hair roots, or as the manufacturers put it: "put them to rest". Which, one way or another, is the whole point. I don't know why your hairs bother you, but I always imagine that blonde hairs are not visible at all to others.... I wish I had blonde hairs on my body. I am from Turkey and we are hairy. And how! But thanks to Philips Lumea I have peace of mind now, I hardly have to shave. Only I can see a few hairs, for others they are probably not visible at all. It's a great feeling! But it worked so well for me because I have dark hair and not too dark skin. With too dark skin it will also be rather difficult... Greetings, Dilek

Hello, A maximum of 250 flashes per application is possible, and in my opinion that is already a lot. If four people use this device, we are talking about 1000, and if you take into account intervals of several weeks between treatments, you get a maximum of 10 per year multiplied by 1,000 = 10,000. So you could operate this device for about 25 years, if this guideline of 250,000 is about right, even if it would only last 15 years that would be enough for me. But yes, there must be someone who could replace the tube, an electronics hobbyist or the manufacturer itself.
