Proshield Foam & Spray (235ml)

Proshield Foam & Spray is a non-rinsing cleanser that keeps the skin supple, prevents dryness, and minimizes irritation. Cleaning with water and soap can lead to incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) in irritated skin. In the context of dermatitis, incontinence can result in inflamed, chafed, and infected skin, causing severe pain and increasing the risk of pressure ulcers. Therefore, for incontinence, irritated, or sensitive skin, the Proshield Foam & Spray cleanser from Smith & Nephew should be used. This is a gentle skin cleanser with a neutral pH that is suitable for both intact and damaged skin. The foam cleanser has a light, pleasant scent and can be applied with just one hand.

  • It eliminates unpleasant odors and breaks down dried stool.
  • It has a wide range of applications for both intact and damaged skin, bridging the gap between incontinence care and wound management. It is also suitable for full-body cleansing and for removing antiseptic solutions.

Application

Proshield Foam & Spray should be sprayed directly onto the soiled area or applied to a washcloth. The area is then wiped clean and patted dry. Rinsing is not required.
