PROSHIELD Foam & Spray is a no-rinse cleanser that keeps the skin supple, prevents dryness, and minimizes irritation. Cleaning with water and soap can lead to incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) in individuals with irritated skin. Incontinence can result in inflamed, chafed, and infected skin related to dermatitis, causing severe pain and increasing the risk of pressure ulcers. Therefore, for incontinence, irritated, or sensitive skin, the PROSHIELD Foam & Spray cleanser from Smith & Nephew should be used. This gentle skin cleanser has a neutral pH and is suitable for both intact and damaged skin. The foam cleanser has a light, pleasant fragrance and can be applied with just one hand.

Application

PROSHIELD Foam & Spray should be sprayed directly onto the soiled area or applied to a washcloth. The area is then wiped clean and patted dry. Rinsing is not required.
