The Proclear Multifocal Toric are soft monthly contact lenses from Coopervision. They are made from Omafilcon A with a water content of 59% and are designed for the simultaneous correction of astigmatism (irregular cornea) and presbyopia (age-related vision loss). Astigmatism can occur at any age, while presbyopia is caused by a decrease in the flexibility of the eye's lens, typically becoming noticeable around the ages of 40 to 50. Individuals affected by both types of refractive error not only see distant objects unclearly; near objects also appear blurred or distorted. The Proclear Multifocal Toric allow for clear vision at all distances, contributing to a comfortable daily life.

Excellent wearing comfort

The Proclear Multifocal Toric contain the bionic substance Phosphorylcholine, which is completely tissue-compatible and frequently used in medicine. The special properties of the biocompatible material ensure that the lenses are very well tolerated and do not create a foreign body sensation. A unique manufacturing process connects water molecules with the lens material, creating a natural resistance to drying out. As a result, the contact lenses are very comfortable to wear and remain moist and hydrated even during extended wear.

Dirt-resistant and easy to handle

The Proclear Multifocal Toric can be worn throughout the day and are easy to clean, as dirt particles and proteins hardly deposit on the non-ionic lens surface. The monthly lenses only need to be replaced every 30 days.
