Phytovir Patch (15 pcs)
What is herpes labialis? Herpes labialis is a herpes simplex virus infection that manifests as a cluster of skin blisters on the lips. These blisters are also known as cold sores. What are the symptoms of a herpes labialis infection? The initial symptoms include a warm, tingling sensation on the lip as well as the appearance of reddish spots. Within a few hours, fluid-filled blisters begin to form. Triggers for cold sores can include a weakened immune system, fever, menstruation, stress, intense sun exposure, or the consumption of certain foods. Cold sores can recur because the virus remains in the body after the initial infection and can be reactivated by triggers. What should you consider with herpes labialis? Avoid lip contact with other people during acute cold sore outbreaks until the blisters have completely healed. Herpes labialis is highly contagious! Avoid very hot or very cold foods, as they can irritate the affected skin areas. The product is for single use.
Application
Wash your hands before applying the patch. Ensure that there are no remnants of creams on the affected area and that the skin is dry for the patch to adhere properly. Open the protective cover and pull out the patch by lifting the opposite edge of the holder. Place half of the patch on the affected area and release the other half so that the patch adheres completely to the cold sore. Wear the patch until it loosens by itself. Repeat the application until the cold sore has healed.
