Oxysept Comfort is suitable for cleaning and disinfecting all soft contact lenses. The peroxide system ensures efficient cleaning and disinfection of contact lenses and neutralizes the peroxide after cleaning. It is particularly well-suited for soft contact lenses, especially silicone hydrogel lenses. Neutralization is achieved with a Vitamin B12 neutralization tablet.
The Oxysept Comfort Peroxide lens solution uses hydrogen peroxide for contact lens cleaning. The hydrogen peroxide in the peroxide system removes deposits from the contact lens and kills microorganisms. The Vitamin B12 neutralization tablet neutralizes the hydrogen peroxide through decomposition, which is important to avoid sensitive eye irritation.
The neutralization process in the Oxysept Comfort Peroxide contact lens care solution from Abbott Medical Optics (AMO) is easily recognizable: thanks to the Vitamin B12 in the neutralization tablet, the care solution turns pink as soon as the hydrogen peroxide in the peroxide system is completely neutralized.
The peroxide contact lens cleaner from AMO, which is suitable for soft contact lenses and specifically for silicone hydrogel lenses, is preservative-free. This significantly reduces the risk of potential intolerances and allergies. Additionally, the contact lens care solution contains wetting agents that keep the lens moist and enhance wearing comfort.
