Oxysept Comfort is suitable for cleaning and disinfecting all soft contact lenses. The peroxide system ensures efficient cleaning and disinfection of contact lenses while simultaneously neutralizing the peroxide after cleaning. This contact lens care product is ideally suited for soft contact lenses and works particularly well with silicone hydrogel contact lenses. The peroxide is neutralized using a Vitamin B12 neutralization tablet.

The Oxysept Comfort Peroxide lens solution uses hydrogen peroxide for contact lens cleaning. The hydrogen peroxide in the peroxide system removes deposits from the contact lens and simultaneously kills microorganisms. The Vitamin B12 neutralization tablet neutralizes the hydrogen peroxide through decomposition. This is important because without this process, it could lead to sensitive irritation of the eyes.

It is easy to recognize when the neutralization is completely finished with the Oxysept Comfort Peroxide contact lens care product from Abbott Medical Optics (AMO): thanks to the Vitamin B12 in the neutralization tablet, the care solution turns pink as soon as the hydrogen peroxide in the peroxide system is fully neutralized.

The peroxide contact lens cleaner from AMO, which is suitable for soft contact lenses and specifically for silicone hydrogel contact lenses, is completely free of preservatives. This significantly reduces the risk of potential intolerances and allergies that could be triggered by the contact lens care product.
