Optosol Biloxid 1 Reinigungs- und Desinfektionslösung für weiche Kontaktlinsen

Biloxid 1 is a cleaning and disinfection solution for soft contact lenses and is part of a two-step peroxide care system. It should only be used in combination with Biloxid 2. For disinfection, place the contact lenses in the special container filled with Biloxid 1 for at least 30 minutes after wearing. Gently shaking the container multiple times further supports the cleaning and disinfection process. After disinfection, neutralization must occur. To do this, completely pour out Biloxid 1, rinse the container with Biloxid 2, and then fill it up to the mark with Biloxid 2. After that, close the container and shake it again. The neutralization process takes at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight. Before inserting the contact lenses, rinse them again with Biloxid 2 or a suitable rinsing solution such as Bilosaline. Important: Contact lenses may only be inserted after complete neutralization with Biloxid 2 following the use of Biloxid 1. Use only containers that are suitable for peroxide systems. Biloxid 1 is used for cleaning and disinfection, while Biloxid 2 is used for neutralization and storage. The system is free from preservatives and is based on a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution with synthetic catalase. Contents: 1 x 360 ml.
