Melgisorb Plus Alginate Dressing 10x10 cm (10 pcs)

Alginate dressing for moderately to heavily exuding wounds. Melgisorb Plus absorbs large amounts of wound exudate. During absorption, the alginate fibers form a soft, moist gel that maintains a moist wound environment conducive to the healing process. The gel can be easily removed by rinsing with 0.9% saline solution. Melgisorb Plus is soft, flexible, and adaptable, and can be cut to the desired shape. Melgisorb Plus is non-sensitizing and can be used on a variety of infectious and non-infectious wounds. It can be applied to flat wounds and wound cavities.

  • Retains fluids, thereby reducing the risk of maceration
