Miradent Xylitol

Miradent Xylitol gum sustainably reduces the formation of cavities with its cleansing and plaque-inhibiting effect, especially after meals. Xylitol forms complexes with calcium and salivary proteins in the oral cavity, which leads to the remineralization of tooth enamel. With sufficient xylitol intake, no new plaque forms on the teeth. Thus, the development of cavities is prevented, and existing dental plaque is dissolved and removed. Xylitol creates a cooling effect on the tongue, similar to the refreshing taste of menthol.
