Microdacyn 60 Hydrogel (60g)

Effective treatment for chronic and/or infected wounds. Microdacyn Hydrogel is a stabilized, hydroactive, amorphous gel designed for rehydrating necrotic and fibrinous tissue. It supports autolytic debridement and creates a physiological wound healing environment. Compared to most other hydrogels, Microdacyn Hydrogel can be used for up to 60 days after opening. Additionally, it is possible to use a gel dispenser for multiple patients. The gel is preserved with sodium hypochlorite and hypochlorous acid, which are substances of the body's immune defense that ensure the product's stability and make it hypoallergenic.

Properties: Since Microdacyn Hydrogel is extremely well tolerated, it can also be used on exposed bones, tendons, and ligaments. Microdacyn Hydrogel can be applied to all dry and lightly exuding wounds. This includes all wounds that need rehydration, as well as burns up to degree 2. When unopened, it has a shelf life of up to 15 months at room temperature, and it should be used within 60 days after opening. Microdacyn Hydrogel is an environmentally friendly product that can be disposed of normally without special regulations.

Easy application: The gel is applied in a thickness of 2-5 mm to the cleansed wound and can be left on the wound for up to three days. If any remnants of the gel remain in the wound during a dressing change, they can easily be rinsed out with Microdacyn 60 Wound Care. All standard wound dressings are suitable for covering. If Microdacyn Hydrogel is introduced into wound cavities, these must also be packed with appropriate wound fillers (e.g., alginates or hydrofibers).
