Mepore Wundverband

Mepore is a breathable, absorbent, self-adhesive dressing for low to moderately exuding wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions. The skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive is based on a water emulsion and is free from binders and solvents, thus ensuring gentle and secure adhesion. The wound pad can absorb small amounts of wound fluids and the low-adhesion surface coating reduces the risk of sticking to the wound. Mepore is also breathable to prevent wound maceration. At the same time, a moist wound environment is maintained. The porous structure of the non-woven fabric ensures air and water permeability. This material is stretchy, pliable and allows body movement. It is also non-absorbent and prevents soaking. The easy-to-remove protective film enables sterile application.
