Mepore Pro is a self-adhesive, absorbent, and breathable dressing with an outer film that protects the wound. It can be used for a variety of weak to moderately exuding wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts, and abrasions.
The wound pad is absorbent to ensure optimal fluid management and features a lightly adhesive wound dressing, making it comfortable to wear, non-slip, and non-stick to the wound.
The skin-friendly, solvent-free polyacrylate adhesive based on a water emulsion provides gentle and secure fixation, protecting the wound from water. The dressing also forms a barrier against viruses and bacteria to protect the wound from external contamination.
The film is breathable to prevent maceration while maintaining a moist wound environment. It is waterproof, allowing for showering and protecting the wound from water and contamination. At the same time, it prevents clothing and bedding from becoming soaked and minimizes friction.
With its highly absorbent wound pad and breathable film, the dressing has good absorption capacity. The easy-to-remove protective film allows for sterile and simple application. The stability of the layered fabric promotes safe and uncomplicated use.
