Mepore is a breathable, absorbent, self-adhesive dressing for lightly to moderately exuding wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts, and abrasions.
The skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive is based on a water emulsion, is free from binders and solvents, allowing for gentle and secure adhesion.
The wound pad can absorb small amounts of wound fluid, and the low-adhesion surface coating reduces the risk of sticking to the wound.
Additionally, Mepore is breathable to prevent wound maceration while maintaining a moist wound environment.
The porous structure of the nonwoven fabric ensures air and water permeability. This material is stretchable, conformable, and allows for body movements. It is also non-absorbent and prevents saturation.
The easy-to-remove protective film allows for sterile application.
