Product details
Mepore Film is a transparent, self-adhesive film dressing that is ideal as a secondary dressing for covering and securing primary dressings, and it can also be used as a primary dressing for a wide range of "clean" wounds.
It is optimally suited as a secondary fixation dressing for covering hydrogel or alginate dressings. You can also use it on various clean wounds in the granulation phase.
Mepore Film is breathable and liquid-proof, preventing wound maceration while maintaining a moist wound environment.
Additionally, it is easy to apply, even with gloves. The protective paper is easy to remove and is also sterile.
The solvent-free, skin-friendly water-based adhesive ensures gentle fixation and forms a barrier against viruses and bacteria.
Since Mepore is transparent, the wound area can be easily monitored.
The material is adaptable and flexible for optimal freedom of movement and friction protection.
