Product details
Mepore Film Transparent Film Dressing (10 pcs)
Mepore Film is a transparent, self-adhesive film dressing that is ideal as a secondary dressing for covering and securing primary dressings. It can also be used as a primary dressing for a wide range of "clean" wounds. Mepore Film is optimally suited as a secondary fixation dressing for covering hydrogel or alginate dressings and can be applied to various clean wounds in the granulation phase.
Mepore Film is breathable and liquid-proof, preventing wound maceration while maintaining a moist wound environment. It is easy to apply, even with gloves. The protective paper is easy to remove and is also sterile. The solvent-free, skin-friendly water-based adhesive ensures gentle fixation and creates a barrier against viruses and bacteria. Since Mepore is transparent, the wound area can be easily monitored. The material is adaptable and flexible for optimal freedom of movement and friction protection.
Application
- Remove the protective film (with Mepore Film print) to expose the adhesive.
- Position the dressing and secure it with the adhesive side on the skin. Please ensure that the dressing is not overstretched during application. Then remove the paper frame and the two side strips.
- Size: 6x7 cm.
