Mepitel Wound dressing

Mepitel is a gentle, double-sided adhesive wound contact layer with Safetac, the original silicone adhesive contact layer that minimizes pain during dressing changes. It gently adheres to the skin without sticking to the moist wound, allowing for easy removal of the dressing without damaging the skin. This makes dressing changes less painful for your patients. Safetac also protects the new tissue and intact skin, ensuring that the wound remains undisturbed and supports the natural healing process. The wound edges are sealed to protect the skin from harmful leakage and maceration. Thanks to the perforated design, wound exudate drains into a secondary absorbent dressing. You can leave the dressing on the wound and easily perform topical treatments. Due to the integrity of the wound dressing, dressing changes are less frequently required, and secondary dressings can be changed without disrupting the healing process.
