A one-sided coated wound contact layer that allows for wound assessment without the need to remove the dressing.

Mepitel One is a gentle, one-sided adhesive wound contact layer with Safetac – the original contact layer with silicone adhesion that minimizes pain during dressing changes. It gently adheres to the skin without sticking to the moist wound, allowing for easy removal without damaging the skin. This makes dressing changes less painful for your patients. Safetac also protects new tissue and intact skin – keeping the wound undisturbed and supporting the natural healing process. The wound edges are sealed to protect the skin from harmful leakage and maceration. Thanks to the open mesh structure of Mepitel One, wound exudate drains into a secondary dressing. This facilitates topical treatments. Secondary dressings can be changed without disrupting the healing process.
