Mepitel Film has been developed to protect fragile and sensitive skin, as well as to minimize the risk of skin damage. You can use this breathable film dressing alone or in combination with other products.

Mepitel Film is highly adaptable and conforms well to skin irregularities or different body shapes. The dressing provides flexible, transparent protection for your patient's skin or wound against microbial contamination, fluid penetration, and other external contaminants.

Thanks to Safetac – the original contact layer with silicone adhesion that minimizes pain, the dressing adheres immediately and requires no additional fixation. With Safetac, you can easily remove it without damaging the skin, making dressing changes less painful for your patients.

Mepitel Film can be used as a landing zone for other products, allowing medical devices to be attached to the patient's skin without causing damage or pain upon removal.

You can use Mepitel Film to significantly reduce skin damage from radiation therapy following breast cancer treatment. A recent randomized controlled study demonstrated a reduction in the severity of skin reactions by more than 90%.
