Product details

The Mepilex Lite is suitable for the treatment of slightly exuding acute and chronic wounds. The thin foam layer is soft and adapts easily to the body part. The dressing can also be customised. The layer that lies on the wound is a Safetac contact layer with silicone adhesion. This minimises pain when changing the dressing. The edges of the wound are also sealed so that the skin is protected. Properties: Soft, adaptable foam dressing. For slightly exuding wounds. Can be cut to size. Minimises pain when changing the dressing. Application: Clean the wound. Ensure that the skin around the wound is dry. Remove the cover sheets and apply the dressing with the adhesive side to the wound. The dressing should not be stretched and should overlap the surrounding skin by at least 2 cm. If necessary, Mepilex Lite can be additionally fixed with a bandage or other fixative dressing.

Mepilex Lite is suitable for a variety of low exuding acute and chronic wounds including diabetic foot syndrome, pressure ulcers, second degree burns and epidermolysis bullosa. You can easily cut Mepilex Lite to the size of a specific wound as the soft foam is highly customisable. This makes it ideal for wound areas that are difficult to dress, for example in the armpits or under the breast. You can use it together with our Tubifast™ fixation.
