Medihoney Barrier Cream protects vulnerable skin and moisturizes. The cream contains 30% medicated Manuka honey and contains no added dyes or fragrances. Due to the 30% medicinal honey, there is high efficacy against a range of microorganisms. The cream contains natural silicone and thus has a water repellent effect and is excellent against incontinence associated dermatitis (IAD) or even intertrigo.Skin protection for incontinence (can be applied under incontinence pads)Wound edge protection (skin irritation or damage caused by wound exudate at wound edges)Prevention of skin damage caused by frequent hand washing or friction e.g. bandages, diapers.E.g. bandages, diapersHelps with cracked hands and heelsPrevents macerationPrevents excoriationAssists in maintaining the pH of the skinApplicationApply to cleansed dry skin three times daily.
