The ManuRhizoLoc provides secure support for the wrist and thumb thanks to the integrated and anatomically shaped aluminum splints. While the initial focus of therapy is on immobilizing the joints, it is important for long-term recovery to gradually train the muscles. A Velcro strap on the thumb allows for loosening the support and enables controlled movement release in the thumb's metacarpophalangeal joint. Once sufficient mobility is restored, the thumb support can be completely removed. This allows for gripping movements with all fingers, further stabilizes the hand, and reduces the risk of subsequent injuries. Its flat design made of micro Velcro suede can be easily worn under clothing, does not pull threads, and is particularly lightweight.

Indications

• Preoperative
• Irritation conditions in the wrist as well as in the thumb's metacarpophalangeal and saddle joints (post-traumatic and post-operative)
• Severe rhizarthrosis
• Combined injuries of the wrist and thumb saddle joint
• Carpal tunnel syndrome.
