Lomatuell Pro is a non-adhesive, flexible wound dressing with an open mesh structure that allows for good exudate drainage into the secondary dressing (wound distance mesh). The product consists of a synthetic mesh tulle, impregnated with a fat- and hydrocolloid-containing polymer matrix. When in contact with fluids, the hydrocolloid particles form a gel that creates an amphiphilic (hydrophilic-lipophilic) layer with the petroleum jelly. This largely prevents sticking to the wound, supports wound healing, and enables atraumatic dressing changes. Lomatuell Pro can be combined with negative pressure therapy as a wound distance mesh (for superficial wounds) and can be used for all levels of exudation. The product is applicable on both sides and can also be cut to fit various wound sizes and body areas.

The recommended dressing change interval is typically 2-4 days. Depending on the type and healing progress of the wound, the dressing can be left on longer (up to a maximum of 7 days) or for a shorter period.

Product composition: Polyester fiber mesh tulle impregnated with a coating mass consisting of a polymer matrix (an elastically deformable fixing mass), petroleum jelly, and hydrocolloid.
