Production
Loofah is also known as sponge gourd and is a plant whose ripe fruits yield a natural sponge. Our loofah is lovingly and manually produced by a sweet elderly couple in Eastern Europe. It takes about 4 months for the loofah to reach us in production.

The loofah plant grows on a long stem and is harvested when it is ripe but still green, around 3 months. After harvesting, the fruits are hung to dry for about 4 weeks. They are then thoroughly cleaned and cut into desired shapes. We chose a rectangle that fits our soap mold.

Application
Gently apply to damp skin in circular motions, let it sit briefly, and rinse thoroughly. It can also be used for showering the entire body.

Caution
For external use only. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water. Store in a dark and cool place.
