How is Cross Tape applied? Before Cross Tape is applied, the skin must be thoroughly cleaned and any grease removed to ensure that it remains in place for 5-7 days. Painful removal of the tape can be avoided by shaving the adhesive areas. The full adhesive strength of the tape is developed after some time through the warmth of the skin. Shortly after the tape has been applied, it adapts and is no longer perceived as irritating. Cross Tapes promote activities instead of restricting them. Showering, bathing, swimming or doing sports is possible without any problems. The tape should be applied 20 - 30 minutes in advance before sporting activities. Where is the Cross Tape applied? Find the pain, trigger or acupuncture point by moving the joints and muscles and then apply the tape to this area. The plaster can also be applied to a scar. ATTENTION: Do not stick on open wounds! The basis of a targeted therapy and before any treatment is a detailed and clarifying diagnosis. Successful therapy is only possible if the individual characteristics are taken into account, because every person is unique. Tip: Cross tape should only be applied by trained therapists.
