Bee-Patch by Katadyn is a patch designed for the treatment of bee and wasp stings. When stung, you remove the stinger, apply a drop of water to the sting, and place the patch over it. Within an hour, the venom is drawn out of the skin, significantly relieving pain and swelling. Bee-Patch is based on an old Danish home remedy that involves placing a drop of water with a sugar cube on the sting, which draws out the venom through osmosis. However, with Bee-Patch, the sugar is sealed in the patch and is odorless, thus not attracting additional insects. Bee-Patch contains no chemical ingredients and is suitable for diabetics.
