Hydrofilm is a sterile, self-adhesive transparent dressing to protect against the penetration of bacteria, external contamination and mechanical irritation. It is used for dry or only slightly exuding, primarily healing wounds, almost healed epithelialising wounds and for the fixation of wound dressings, catheters and cannulas. Additional use of hydrofilm: as a sealing element in negative pressure wound therapy with the Vivano system.
