The Hydrocoll Classic Hydrocolloid Dressing is a self-adhesive wound plaster specifically designed for the moist treatment of lightly to moderately exuding wounds. With a size of 7.5 x 7.5 cm, it offers an optimal solution for promoting wound healing during the granulation and epithelialization phases. The dressing absorbs excess wound exudate and transforms into a gel-like medium upon contact with wound fluid, protecting the wound and keeping the tissue moist. The semi-occlusive outer layer protects against external influences such as germs and liquids, while the good adhesion ensures a secure fit. A painless dressing change minimizes irritation and increases wearing comfort, making it ideal for use on clinically non-infected, moderately exuding wounds.
