Hallufix Hallux Valgus Orthosis
36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42Product details
The Hallufix Bunion Aid Splint was developed by scientists and orthopaedists to relieve pain and correct malpositioning of the big toes ("Bunion Pain", medical term: Hallux Valgus). This hinged splint has been proven to correct toe malposition, protect and relieve painful bunion, and support the entire foot while walking. The splint is easy to put on and can be worn on the left or right side. The special advantage of Hallufix: In contrast to conventional rigid Hallux Valgus night splints, this patented splint system can be worn under load (while walking) during the day. Thanks to an integrated joint next to the ball of the foot, the natural flexibility of the base joint of the big toe is retained when the splint is worn. What's more, due to its flat design, the splint fits easily into almost any walking shoe with a wide forefoot area. The Hallufix Bunion Aid Splint offers protection and correction of feet affected by hallux valgus anytime and anywhere.

Ingredients | Product features: Hallux valgus splint The Hallufix Hallux Valgus splint was developed by scientists and orthopaedists to correct the misalignment of the big toe (bunion, technical term: hallux valgus). This joint splint has been proven to correct the misalignment of the toes, protect and relieve the painful bunion area and support the entire foot when rolling. The Hallux Valgus splint is easy to put on and can be worn on the left and right. A particular advantage of the Hallufix® hallux valgus splint: unlike conventional, rigid hallux valgus night splints, the patented articulated splint system allows the foot to move normally both at night and during the day when walking. Thanks to the anatomically adapted joint at bunion height, the natural mobility of the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe is maintained when wearing this hallux valgus splint. The gel side cushion, which is adapted to the shape of the splint, moulds itself around the sensitive bunion region and cools it if necessary. The Hallufix Hallux Valgus splint is the first choice for correction and protection in cases of big toe misalignment. The Hallufix Hallux Valgus splint is available in three sizes: for shoe sizes 34 - 36, 35 - 42 and 41 - 46. The Hallufix Hallux Valgus splint offers maximum precision of fit. The Hallufix Hallux Valgus splint supports the entire foot. Source: www.hallufix.com Status: 12/2018. |
Instructions for use | The splint should be worn regularly at night. If necessary, you can also wear the hallux valgus splint for approx. 2-3 hours during the day. For example, in a sock while doing housework. To begin with, you should wear the splint on an hourly basis. The Hallufix® hallux valgus splint can be used as a preventative measure for mild to moderate hallux valgus as well as after hallux valgus surgery. - Preventive use of the Hallufix® Hallux Valgus Splint: Often initially regarded as merely a cosmetic defect, the bunion (hallux valgus) can cause increasing pain over time. For mild and moderate cases of hallux valgus, regular wear of the Hallufix® Hallux Valgus Splint relieves hallux valgus pain and prevents further worsening of the deformity of the big toe. Studies confirm that the Hallufix® Hallux Valgus Splint is an effective aid for correcting incorrect loading of the foot in the context of a mild to moderate and not yet rigid hallux valgus deformity. - Use of the Hallufix® hallux valgus splint after hallux valgus surgery: After hallux valgus surgery, conservative follow-up treatment with hallux valgus splints is usually recommended in order to permanently stabilise the surgically achieved repositioning of the toe. The Hallufix® hallux valgus splint helps to optimise the surgical result and protects the foot, even when it is subjected to weight by walking. Early mobilisation is therefore possible. The post-operative rehabilitation phase is shortened. |
