Geek & Gorgeous Calm Down is a gentle exfoliator specially formulated for sensitive, redness-prone skin. It contains 4% PHA and BHA acids (salicylic acid), which give the skin a healthy glow while hydrating, soothing and protecting it.
PHA acids exfoliate more gently than AHA acids. The 3.2% PHA contained in the formula effectively removes dead skin cells from the skin's surface and also has hydrating and antioxidant properties. 0.8% salicylic acid also penetrates deep into the pores to remove dead skin cells. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect and rebalances irritated skin.
The formula combines PHA and BHA acids with various soothing, antioxidant and hydrating active ingredients so that Calm Down not only gently exfoliates the skin, but also soothes and moisturises it.
The liquid texture feels as light as a toner on the skin. The peeling has a pH value of 3.5-3.9 and is ideal for sensitive skin or when highly concentrated, active ingredients such as retinoids are used in the skincare routine.
