A baroque, magnificent, and almost symphonically designed fragrance that required hundreds of attempts to balance such an expressive formula: Portrait of a Lady is undoubtedly the perfume with the highest concentration of rose essence and patchouli ever achieved in the heart note. Dominique Ropion composed an oriental rose here, based on a chord of benzoin resin, cinnamon, sandalwood, and above all, patchouli, musk, and incense. A scent that evokes sensual beauty and attracts people like a magnet. A modern classic.

The perfumer:

Dominique Ropion learned his craft at the legendary Roure Bertrand Dupont laboratory before starting his work with Jean-Louis Sieuzac, one of the world's greatest perfumery technicians. Today, he is a star perfumer at IFF. What characterizes Ropion's work is the blend of precision and freedom, as well as the constant search for new, harmonious chords in which he combines ingredients that are completely opposite to each other. An adventurer who relies on his instinct. However, Dominique Ropion is also very strict in the final phase of formulating each of his fragrances.
