The perfumer: After studying political science, Pierre Bourdon made a career shift and began training at the Roure Bertrand Dupont perfume school in Grasse. He then became the sole student of the famous perfumer Edmond Roudnitska. He began his professional career in the late 1970s at Roure in Paris. In the 1980s, he ushered in a revolutionary new fragrance trend with his men's scent "Cool Water" for Davidoff. Today, Bourdon is regarded as one of the most innovative perfumers of his generation.
