FINigrana Aleppo olive soap is refined with pure essential oil of lemongrass. The main ingredient, olive oil, is obtained from the fruit of the olive tree (bot.: Olea europaea). It originates from the Mediterranean region and is one of the oldest cultivated and useful plants. Its wood grows slowly, is strongly branched, and its deep roots allow the tree to access enough water for growth. It tolerates high heat but not frost. Olive leaves, which can be years old, are shed regardless of the season because the olive tree is an evergreen plant. Its narrow, lance-shaped leaves are leathery green on top and shiny silvery underneath. On the silvery underside of the leaves are fine, star-shaped scale hairs, known as "star hairs," which protect the foliage from drying out. Water escaping from the opening crevices is captured and returned to the leaf. A similar effect occurs when using olive soap on human skin. The moisturizing olive oil cleans, nourishes, and cares for the skin without drying or irritating it. The self-regulating skin function is stimulated, promoting re-fattening. A protective layer is formed, allowing the skin to breathe and sweat. This FINigrana Aleppo lemongrass soap is produced from pure olive oil, and after the completion of saponification, the essential oil of lemongrass is added. In Asia, lemongrass is traditionally cultivated for medicinal purposes, tea, food, and perfumery. Its essential oil, Cymbopogon schoenanthus oil, is extracted from the reed-like leaves by gentle steam distillation. Lemongrass oil gives this olive soap a refreshing, invigorating citrus scent, is well tolerated by the skin, and has revitalizing, toning, deodorizing, antiseptic, and insect-repellent properties.

As a general guideline for all solid soaps: after each use, the soap should be stored dry to ensure optimal longevity.
