Hair soap for sensitive scalp with Fairtrade olive oil, Fairtrade apricot kernel oil, Fairtrade shea butter, Fairtrade coconut oil, and organic beer from Basel.
Does beer soap make you beautiful? Beer is good for skin and hair. Our ancestors already knew this. They used beer in beauty care, especially for hair. Beer has a positive effect on both oily skin and oily hair. Vitamins B5 and B6 help naturally regulate sebum production. It tightens the skin and strengthens, builds up, and supports hair.
Why switch back to solid soap? What once seemed old-fashioned is experiencing a true renaissance. Solid soaps instead of liquid soaps. In times of plastic avoidance, zero waste, and general environmental awareness, they are a real alternative to minimize everyone’s ecological footprint. Solid soaps are economical, space-saving, environmentally friendly, and completely biodegradable. Our soaps are made exclusively from natural raw materials and are free from plastic packaging.
Fairtrade raw materials and organic beer go hand in hand! We owe most of the raw materials in our soaps to our Fairtrade-certified producers from around the world. Olive oil from Lebanon, coconut oil from Sri Lanka, shea butter from Ghana, or apricot kernel oil from Pakistan are produced by small farmers in organic quality and Fairtrade-certified. Their share in an unrefined soap is over 50%. Additionally, we process the organic blonde beer from the brewery Unser Bier in Basel, made with Swiss organic hops. This accounts for about 25%. To turn the valuable oils into soap, we use "soap stone" (NaOH). That’s all there is, and that’s a good thing.
