Provital Complex + DHA capsules provide comprehensive support with omega-3 fatty acids (DHA), vitamins, and minerals. They are specifically designed for women who are trying to conceive, during pregnancy, and while breastfeeding. Since many women are not sufficiently supplied with vitamins and minerals before pregnancy, taking micronutrients is important as soon as there is a desire to conceive. The Swiss Society for Nutrition recommends taking 400 µg of folic acid at least four weeks before pregnancy to prevent neural tube defects. Zinc plays a crucial role in cell division and immune system function and should also be supplied in adequate amounts. Pregnant and breastfeeding women require increased amounts of DHA, iron, and iodine, which are often not sufficiently covered by diet alone. Provital Complex + DHA capsules are lactose-free, gluten-free, and contain no pork gelatin. They are easy to take and have no fishy aftertaste.
