It has no sharp edges and is gentle on hair and scalp. It can be easily replaced with the supplied replacement sleeve in the clip colour.

Application: The doouup is used like a normal hair clip. It is spread out and the hair is clamped in place. If necessary, individual strands can be slipped under the elasticated teeth. At the end, push the barrettes into the clip with a little pressure. They secure like additional hairpins and the doouup disappears almost completely into the hair. Pull the clips out again to open. A little force is required to overcome the pressure point. The doouup can then be used again like a normal hair clip. To begin with, practise a few times in your hand to develop a feel for it and then discover completely new styling options with the doouup.
