Dailies Total 1 lenses are the first daily lenses made from silicone hydrogel with a water gradient. This means that the water content increases from 33% in the lens core to over 80% at the surface, matching the water content of the natural eye surface. The material in the lens core is highly oxygen-permeable due to its water content of only 33%. Overall, this combination makes these contact lenses extremely comfortable to wear.
