The discreet and waterproof transparent dressing with a wound pad for secure wound protection.
Cosmopor transparent is a self-adhesive transparent film dressing with a central absorbent wound pad. It is made of a semi-permeable, waterproof, and transparent polyurethane film coated with a polyacrylate adhesive. The wound pad is made of viscose fiber and is covered with a polyethylene mesh that serves as a non-stick wound contact layer.
Cosmopor transparent can be used in the postoperative care of lightly exuding wounds, as protection against the entry of bacteria, and as a dressing for minor injuries.
