Cosmopor® silicone is a sterile wound dressing that can be gently removed thanks to its skin-friendly perforated silicone adhesive layer. It does not stick to the wound or surgical stitches, yet provides strong adhesion. The dressing is flexible and cushioning, breathable, and simultaneously water-repellent. Additionally, Cosmopor® silicone has high absorbency and retention capacity. The viscose wound pad absorbs wound exudate and directs it to the superabsorbent fibers, where the exudate is permanently locked away, preventing it from re-entering the wound.

Cosmopor® silicone allows for reliable wound coverage of acute and postoperative wounds. Its silicone adhesive layer enables gentle removal and makes it ideal for patients with sensitive and damaged skin. Cosmopor® silicone can also be easily applied with gloves and is suitable for wound care on various body areas due to its excellent flexibility.
